As you might have seen in our topic on irc, we held some kind of clean-up in Red Army, cause of that we decided to kick a lot of the inactive members, thats why the following members have been kicked: Predator/RefleXs, virre, cond0me, pan and naqu. Besides that ThermaX decided to leave us, i dont have any background information about that.. but good luck to all of you.

Hola people,
My first news item on the page, since im back in The Netherlands. I had a great time in Canada, didnt want to miss it, im so glad i went there and had such a great experience. Last weekend, i went to visit some Belgian friends from Canada.. and on the way back, in Brussels, my suitcase got stolen out of my friends car.. with in there my laptop, camera, usb hdd, passport and mucho more.. so i wont be able to play aq2 anymore for the upcoming weeks, untill i got my new laptop, which i still have to order.
On the other hand, we got a new member.. back from inactivity, former CIA, viagra member Predator or RefleXs if you want joined us, welcome and i hope you will enjoy your stay.

Well, as you might have seen we got alot of members in these times, and ill update on who's around or not.

Da^JuaN just came back from Canada, and will most likely be active from now on.
Sakura i really dont know, i bet he's tired or something.
cond0me is working alot, and then I mean ALOT.
Ralle will recieve his new screen along this week, and will then be the redarmy fellow he once was:P
Godless we have heard nothing about whatsoever. He just stopped being online without any further announcements. The rumours says that he don't have internet.
As other news, Zied and Tamb00n is in the god damn army, which tamboon joined monday 8. of january. They will be playing only in the weekend.
Latest we've been handing out tryouts to anyone familiar and with some skill, or we asked them ourselves. We actually decided to take everyone in since non of them were the weak link.
Bear kicked due to cheating, I really didn't think he of all men would be cheating, but its a fact...
Pan is our latest tryout, furhter announcement will be published soon.

It all started out when 8 members shouted out "CW!!!" in our private channel. All of our 8 participants agreed on playing an 4on4 internal match, I(Durden) was captain for team 1, while beavisss was for team 2.

Of course we played our two original homemaps cliff2 and rhstation, my team(team 1) had cliff2 as homemap, while team2 had rhstation.
Team 1 equals RA1 lol.
RA1 won in with pride and glory, even though we humuliated team 2 with a destroying 22-12 on cliff2.
And on we went towards playing rhstation, where RA2 were the hometeam and therefore picked team. This was like "plankdriving" or whatever for RA1, "sad"(HEHE) but true:P
it ended 20-10 to RA1.
all in all, team 1 showed their attitude towards gaming and crushed team 2 with the score 42-22.

Happy new year and the best wishes for 2007 from Canada! I hope you guys had a great eve, at least I did.. 9h later than you guys.. or 10h later than the Fins, but it was awesome! Different than in Europe though, but cool.
Ill be skiing for the upcoming days and next week i'll be back in the Netherlands.

 FoxX has finally went online and lost his irl after a long break and going to return into aq2 again. So we welcome him back in aq2 and glad to tell you that he will be playing for Red Army. He has lost his skill and now he plays like 6 years old girl, but at least we have a guy to blame for lose now! Welcome Danny, welcome!
Also inactive guy  virre who promised to be more active have joined us aswell and going to have a try in our clan. We welcome him aswell.
Soon all trials will be sorted and promoted to members or kicked, stay tuned.

Sup guys. Looks like its time for another news!
First of all I want to tell that few days ago Mikuza has joined us as try. He's proved that he fits in team very good. I am glad to say that he is no longer a try and has became a full member in Red Army.
Second news is that we've been invited in Double Elimination Cup together with iN, [j], {UNI}, Apr, viagra, lost and }i{. This cup has been organized by emu and z0, you can find more info about cup at #decup @Qnet. Looking forward to play it. Cant wait to start fighting. Wish us good luck and ofcourse alot of fun.

Im here in Canada for about 2.5 week now and its awesome, classes started 1.5 week ago, but still having party every day, lots of great people over here, kind, helpfull etc. But also the other exchange students are great, we are having parties with them all day/evening/night whatever. Our place is awesome aswell, 5-10 mins from university and 5 minutes from the supermarket, pizza, KFC and more important: the best Pub :)
I see that everything is going pretty fine with the clan, im checking the page weekly, new members, good games, way to go. Keep it up.
Ill go to my next party, gotta pick up some Polish, Mexican and Dutch girls first.

Danish clan "Mobsters" has been reopened and Mesteren decided to leave us to play aq2 togeather with irl friends.
Also Sweet has left us, dunno why. He went to CoM, but left/got kicked from there. Dont really know whats happening to him now.
I guess thats enough of bad news for this moment. Here come some good news - We've got a new player, and we are really glad that such nice sniper as ScrewFace has chosen us as his new clan. Which will show on the scoreboard in the future.
p.s. We've reached milestone of 350 cws :)

This wednesday, 30th of August, I will leave to Lethbridge, Canada to study for 1 semester on the univerisity over there. Lethbridge lays in the state Alberta (Capital is Edmunton), the most famous city is Calgary.. which most of you should know. Its very close to the Rocky Mountains and 2h driving from the border of the USA.
That means that I will be back somewhere in January. The timezone difference is gmt -7, so CET -8.. I will be online, but on different times and less often.
I will write a few items here from time to time, so you can read what im doing there.

On the other hand, we decided to cancel the trials of BlodhuNd and n1smo, they never played and were really inactive.

So.. here we are again! The feeling that united us was too strong to deny, so we had to get this going again. The overall joy and pleasuse we had in RA before is back.

Sad, but true.. RA will go into sleep mode. People have other things to do and nobody cared that much anymore about the clan itself, so putting it to sleep was the best solution.
I want to thank all current and ex-members / trials. I have had a lot of fun in RA, I guess the most fun in all my clans so far and im glad ive met all those people for the great times.
You will see us playing friendly games I suggest, but just when we feel like and might return for real in some time.. but not at this very moment.
Today, exactly 7 months after we started this project.. its time to say goodbye.

We want to welcome our new member, I believe u know him, his name is  Chuck Norris. He was first beta tester of action quake 2. then he was playing it with different fake nicks, he always was on top and never lost a single clanwar. I can call him THE best player of all times. He has a break for 2 years and now he is back in action. He hasnt lost his skill and will help us to play clanwars. We promote him to leaders. Welcome Chuck. Big hug to you.

Since i already knew fuppet and zard0x would quit RA quite fast to start up [e] again, i was looking around for some new trials already.. see my post of yesterday.
Besides them leaving, Ralle returned to RA again, after some incidents with fuppet and zard0x he decided to leave and to rejoin after they would leave, since they just did Ralle is back again.. welcome mate!

Time for an update. Im hardly on mIRC lately, so i dont follow everything in <RA> as much as i did before, but when i joined irc today i noticed a topic change.. Bundy kicked and Durden left. So i asked around and found out that Bundy was kicked because of inactivity and Durden didnt feel like it anymore, the way it went with Bundy so he decided to leave aswell. Have fun in your aq2 future.. and we will meet on the pitch.
On the other hand we took in Robboy as trial about a week ago, maybe even more.. good luck Robboy!

The sad news just reached me, but in de bush somewhere in Holland.. the beaver made a mistake while gnawing a tree. The tree went down on the hard working beaver.
They made a picture of it after this disaster happened.

Edit: After I did some research I found out that it isnt said that the tree was the cause of his death. I think Mike just pwned the beaver with his sniper. The pictures proof it.. he even seems to look very proud of it. So by now Mike is under investigation of the Dutch Secret Services, therefore he will be less active.

Today we decided to take in a new trial, our first Finnish recruit: PuluH aka Birdie, known from clans as -=smt=- and [RK].
Beavisss is quite busy with his new hl2 mapping project and I, Da^JuaN, deciding to combine 2 studies.. so less time to play. We hope Birdie will give us some frags, can add something to our current team and replace a bit of the inactiveness of the leaders.
Some time ago Godless was already promoted to full member after he showed to be a worthy guy in our squad.

After last aq2world league game there was an internal conflict with Beavisss and another guy, so Beavisss decided to leave. After that we became a bit more inactive. When i returned to irc today.. i saw KriBBa and ip left, nobody in our priv chan could tell me why and still none of them told me why.
We already had the need of new members and I already had in mind to merge with the active ones of sr. Therefore zardox, fuppet joined  RA today, Godless as trial and a big hug for Beavisss aswell, welcome back.
The sad thing is that we had to say goodbye to FuZz, since it didnt really work out anymore.. bye my friend, I enjoyed playing with ya.
So now we are back on the track, with an active squad. Good luck to both our new members as to the ones who left.

Well, I want to introduce a new server to you. Since Boomtown hardly updates once in a year and people at Catch-Gamer, always vote cloud, Cliff2 and Tokyo when new map comes in rotation. Angra and Hawk decided to make a new public server with new map only in rotation. You cant vote at that server, but you can go to www.angra.se and vote for any map that you don't like. And in a week/month worst map will be removed from rotation list. Please support this project. All mappers are looking forward to this project ...

As Beavisss already said in a previous newspost, we joined the aq2world league. Yesterday the divisions have been made and we are in the second division. You can watch the divisions here: here.
Today we played the first league game vs. whatever and we won it with 26-20, it was one of those league style games, but thats part of the whole business if you join a league, you know you will get matches like this. You can find the matchreport over here.
Lets wait and see for the next games, we made a strong start at least!
ps. SeS crew left his trial in <RA> and re-opened his old clan MOBsters. Good luck there mate and we'll meet on the pitch.

If Da^JuaN can't add news in time. I have to do it. I dont like to write many words. So here goes short report about what has happened for last few days:
SeScrew has joined our redish army, and now fragging with us. We are trying him out, how good he is and if he will be able to fullfill our team. Good Luck mate.
Sadly, but truth. Twz hasnt fitted in team good enough. Nobody doubts his skill, he is good sprayer, but we couldn't promote him to full members. Good luck Twz and c u around. By the way, he has joined clan Laban, hope he will be happy there.
Today  Chris said us sad news, he has a chance to join koksnutten where his friends are in. So he has decided that he needs it and left us :( GL.
And 1 more news. Celeb0rn has joined us and will be playing with us. Hope we will be able to promote him to full members soon enough. Ofcuz if everything will go well!
OMG, almost forgot about 1 more thing. We will be playing in AQ2world League season 2. Wish us good luck there.

Today we have played 10 clanwars, that is our record. It is 400 minutes of AQ2 without counting organisation time and time which were spent for player waiting. We had won 9 of 10! GG

Besides that, we missed ip for quite some time.. we finally left a message to us today to say he has internet problems and hopes to be back very soon, we are pretty curious and cant wait to see our lil ip back in action soon (hopefully with a non-lagging connection aswell)

We have been opened since 18-th of August. We have played many clanwars already. But page has been finished only few hours ago.
You would ask, why it took so long. I'll tell you why. Better page, more time you need to make it. This page has been coded by snt He was coding it for long time. He calls it his masterpiece. And I can say for sure - It is!
At the beginning we had a nice lineup. So when clan was opened, we were 9. Then ZooL joined us in a few days. In a week after this we have decided to take ip in. So we were 11, 5 days ago. But suddenly Angra Decided to leave us and come back to his old clan Illusion. Good luck there mate, but sad that you've left us, anyway.
Yesterday we have decided to take in 2 guys. KriBBa and Twz are trying to fit our team. I wish you good luck guys and everything you need to play good.
